Sutton Courtaney Gravel Pits, Large Black Puma type cat. 1999

CD Witness Statement: Thanks for this opportunity to share my account of seeing a large black cat some years ago. I live in Didcot South Oxfordshire, and my sighting was a couple of miles away from home. The area is just a short walk from the Thames and has a lot of small ponds or water sources scattered all across the area. A mix of woodlands and farm fields it is an ideal place for any large predator to stay hidden and thrive.
In July 1999 and I had just finished work for the day and as I often do, I had decided to go fishing in Sutton courtney gravel pits just outside Didcot, It was in the evening. I would say around 7 pm I was just driving through the pit area to the lake, thinking about getting set up and just enjoying the unwind, when I realised that where I was looking, about half way down where a fence met the track a large black feline had stepped out of tall grass onto the track! It was clearly a cat and not a domestic cat, this was much bigger in build and length, it clearly stood out as unusual to me.

I slammed on the brakes of the car and was sitting there watching it. The creature at this point was on the passenger side and about six feet from the car, so I got a really good look at it approaching me and as it walked by on the passenger side. I opened the door and got out and for obvious reasons I stayed on the drivers side of the vehicle. I stepped on to the sill of the door to get a better look, and as I did, I saw the creature walk around the end of the fence and back into the long grass! I can only describe it as black about four to five feet long, with shortish legs, a long tail curled upwards, the closest resemblance I can think of is a jaguar or puma! I had been to this area fishing many times and have never seen the like before or since.

The Oxford Newspaper states:

DOZENS of big cat sightings have been reported across many corners of Oxfordshire, a new Freedom of Information Act request has revealed. Police have revealed they received 13 reported sightings of big cats in Oxfordshire since January 2010, with another 11 scattered across the rest of the policing area. Sightings of panther-type creatures have ranged from Minster Lovell and Aston Rowant, to the heart of Oxford in Headington.

The Oxford Mail reported that Thames Valley Police wildlife officer Pc Simon Towers had found a puma’s footprint in West Oxfordshire. Karen Godfrey, 41, of Hewitt Close, Leafield, was with her mother-in-law in July 2000 when a big cat crossed in front of the car on the outskirts of Chadlington. She said: “It was more the size of the tail that scared us. “It jumped over a wall in two leaps. “We got out and stupidly tried to chase it, but it had gone.” Derek Bowers, of Eynsham Road, Botley, was heading to a business meeting in Great Rollright when a big cat crossed the road in front of him. He said: “When I told people in the village, they said it had been seen quite regularly around that area.”

Kyle Walters, from Barton, saw a big cat a month ago while walking his dog on the outskirts of the city. He said: “My dog was looking into the field and a jet black cat-like animal passed us only 15 metres away. “It was about a foot-and-a-half tall and did not seem the slightest bit bothered by me or my dog.” In July, organisers of Truck in Steventon were sent photographs apparently showing a panther-like creature skulking around the Hill Farm venue after this year’s music festival. Wildlife officer Pc Simon Towers had found a puma’s footprint in West Oxfordshire.

I have taken a huge number of cat reports over the years, so many I no long doubt they are here.  Elusive and in a natural environment most cats will avoid humans at all costs.  If your interested in big cat research there are a number of people who I can put you in touch with that may know of any sightings in your area.  It goes without saying a simple google search of your area using the words Puma or Large Black Cat will bring forth a flood of accounts.  Far too many for me to name here.

 Until Next Time Deborah.

He just stood there, watching me Aug 2017 Wildman Co. Armagh.

I would like to report an experience that happened to me just last month (Aug 2017), I was unsure about coming forward, and to be honest I still am, I was in Brackagh which borders a road and is near human habitation in Co Armagh.  I was out as I like to walk and I was exploring an old stomping ground of many years from my youth, I spent a lot of time down here as a lad with my friends or on my own, for hours on end. Back then the area was different, as this is now a nature reserve and is used by dog walkers on a loop walk trail, you can leave the trails and paths if you want too, but I doubt anybody does. There are seven peat rompers ( raised narrow walks) and I had walked three or four of them at least that day already, so id been out for quite some time at this point.

Teddy Boy Bigfoot. I’m confused. Is it left or right???

Yet another outrageous hoax by our well known Irish hoaxer. As videos released today show. Not only is this man outed for his bigfoot hoaxes, but also for lies about his service record, Medals he claims are “his” can be bought online as a decorative piece that went on sale to the general public, and are NOT awarded by the armed forces.

Happy Witchmaster General and Enforced Roman Holiday day,

St Patrick’s Day – a very very bizarre celebration indeed. A British and Roman priest who attempted to annihilate the Druids, conducted exorcisms to banish the great Irish faery deity Aine, who told lies about the faery, who claimed he threw Pagan women who would not convert into the ocean and they became mermaids, who “drove out the snakes” (the Pagan ways) and attempted to turn the great bright god Lugh into Lugh-chromain (Little stooping Lugh) which would become “lephrecaun”. I adore the Irish. I revere Ireland. I have that old blood singing within my veins. But this day is a day to celebrate the survival of the Old Ways despite what this “Saint” represented and the cruel action he took. Today, I wear the green, for the fae, for the Old Ways, for the shining ones and the deep love of the land. Blessings to you all my friends. A blessing on the survival of the old ways, and of the Truth emerging from the distortions of history. )O(

A Bigfoot In Derbyshire, England? A Fire Side Tale by D. L. Soucy 1890’s

One of my favourite channels is the wonderful Fire Side Tales by D. L. Soucy and I was delighted years ago when he added an account of the capture of a wildman in Bakewell Derbyshire. The Video speaks for itself, as do all of his others, the perfect thing to watch on a bad weather day, curled up by the fire.  This account I feel is very important in the history of the UK Wildman accounts, as the Wildman in question was seen by many witnesses and even police officers. I have contacted the police archives for any information available, and I would like to draw your attention to the “hut” that was found by the search party as you can see it is very similar to finds from all across the UK and America.

Here is a transcript of the account:

Hello everybody welcome to another episode of Bigfoot tales and today I head over to Great Britain and we’re going to look at a story that was in a magazine from the late 1890s in the area of Derbyshire England, it’s interesting to note that there are some photographs within the article that show a very interesting structure similar to today’s finds from a publication called Wide World Magazine

In the October of 1904 and written by  Joe Adam and it describes how people who lived in a village in Derbyshire had to deal with a so called wild man of the woods, it was an extraordinary being as they put it who apparently wanted to live in but a primitive way.

Two Upright Impossible Sasquatches. Salisbury 2018

I have been looking for somewhere I could report a strange incident from last month that happened not to far from Stonehenge. Myself and my Mother saw something that we just can not explain, it was quite far away so I didn’t get a close look at the faces or anything, but you could tell it wasnt people and I’m used to seeing cows and farm animals from far away, because there’s animals everywhere in Salisbury, as you drive you get used to seeing animals or wildlife in the fields, but these were not Cows or Sheep, these”figures” stood out as odd, there were two really big “figures” in a faraway field that were standing upright and striding along quite fast together, one was light brown the other one was darker, they were moving at a fast pace away from us. We both were so shocked and we kept asking each other if we both definitely saw that.

Bigfoot Accounts from Angus Scotland 81 – 2016

Charmaine Fraser’s Account: These experiences happened at my Grandparents property out in the Carmyllie Forest area and we spent a lot of our childhood there, at the farm house, it was very heavily wooded back then and there is a quarry and steams, my brother currently lives there. The area has changed in the last 30 yrs but it is still quite remote.

The first incident took place during the day when I was sent out to get the newspapers that got delivered to the neighbours at the bottom of the road. I was with the dog and we were coming down the long path that leads to the track running past the bottom of the property and out on to the farm road. Just before I got onto the track the dog stopped suddenly and started to growl, whine and bare her teeth.

Jackhead A Canadian trapper claims he has survived a brutal sexual assault by what he calls the “biggest beaver he has ever seen.”
Bill O’Connor, 63, was checking his beaver traps near Lake Winnipeg when a large bear-like creature attacked him out of nowhere. O’Connor, who first thought he was being mauled by a small bear or wolverine, soon realized it was, in fact, a very large-sized beaver. “I had never seen a beaver of this size in my entire life,” he told local reporters.
