Encounter report via phone on 5-1-2018:
Robert is a retired level four engineer. He worked for Honeywell Aeronautical Division. He is now 74 years old.
The two men were hunting wild hogs. As they entered a field a Bigfoot was standing approximately 30 yards from them. It was a bright, sunny day and the creature stood upright and was facing them. No expression on its face. It was about 6-7 feet tall, very wide at the shoulders, muscular, nasty-looking reddish-brown hair with Spanish moss hanging in the hair, conical shaped head, large black eyes, flat nose and a grey face.
I was contacted by a gentleman on youtube who after hearing one of the video accounts from a witness on the Medway kindly shared his encounter with something strange whilst out on his mountain bike, as regular readers will know, mountain bikers and the mountain bike trails are a great source for witness accounts.
G: Well Deb this is the strange encounter I had in the woods late at night on a solo mountain bike ride in the winter. I will try and make sense of what happened but im not very good at putting things down on paper and its not the easiest thing to explain.. Im pretty sure this was back in 2011 as I was around 18 when it happened. It was definitely during Winter as the woods were bare of shrub and leaves and the muddy/clay ground was a nightmare to ride on . I used to be a very keen extreme mountain biker and I would go out with a group and also solo, My favourite time was the night rides during the winter months at which time I would usually have a lot of fun, but not this night.
The Scottish Sun Bigfoot investigator claims he has proof legendary monster is hiding out in SCOTTISH forest. Robert Shankland, 56, has shared snaps of what he claims is a 14-inch footprint left by the giant creature in Dumfries and Galloway.
Part-time labourer and gardener Robert Shankland has shared snaps of what he claims is a 14-inch footprint left by the giant creature in Dumfries and Galloway.
The 56-year-old has spent two years hunting for evidence of a “bipedal hominid creature” in Galloway Forest Park, which spans 300 square miles. As well as pictures of the “footprint”, Robert, from Burnside, Lanarkshire, reckons another image could show the creature staring at him from trees.
The fearsome wolves of Yorkshire: Inside the mysterious Wold Newton Triangle
The Yorkshire Wolds may be home to rolling green hills, hidden valleys and ancient villages, but this seemingly peaceful stretch of Yorkshire is harbouring a much darker side behind its picture perfect appearance.
Describe Your Encounter: “I am guessing as to the date since it has been almost 1 year since this sighting. It was a Sunday night and there was a full or nearly full moon with a few clouds and very mild temperature. I am certain of the time of the sighting since I normally walk my dog no later than 9:00pm, but I was late on this particular night because I had been watching a show on TV and was late getting out with her. This was an unusual location to see something like this because I live in a nice, older neighborhood, but it is within a mile of wide open country. I follow the same route walking my dog every evening and I was almost back to my house when I stopped because I saw 2 very large black, hairy things coming down the driveway of the house across the street from my house.

On location with Paul Sinclair…a short account of unusual incidents off the UK’s East Yorkshire coast – as featured in my book ‘Truth-Proof’. The tragedy of RAF Lightning XS894 from September 1970 has always been controversial, due to its alleged interaction with a UFO over the North Sea. However, my research has uncovered two other strange incidents, all occurring in the same stretch of water within the same timeframe – one involving a family-owned speedboat and another involving an RAF Marine launch…For more information on the UFOs and other anomalies seen around the East & North Yorkshire coastline, read ‘Truth-Proof – The Truth That Leaves No Proof’ by Paul Sinclair ISBN: 978-0957500785 For the website truth proof
What would you do if you saw the Loch Ness monster? It’s a question everyone visiting the loch should ask themselves … it would save us all from the scores of blurred photographs, shaky or faraway videos and lackluster or confusing eyewitness accounts. One group which DOES have a plan for a real Nessie sighting is the Scottish Natural Heritage organization. It apparently drew up instructions 17 years ago in the event that the Loch Ness monster is seen and if it is captured.
In an interview with the BBC, Nick Halfhide, the Director of Operations, revealed that a code of practice relating to the capture of the Loch Ness Monster was “partly serious and partly for a bit of fun” but still a real and legitimate document which has been used for other Loch Ness wildlife issues besides Nessie. The plan gives wildlife officials the authority to take a DNA sample of the creature, but then orders them to return it to the loch and develop a plan to protect it (once they know what they’re protecting) and conserve it, now that its existence is proven. That would require highly-regulated cooperation with all of the communities and businesses surrounding the loch, many of which depend on it and tourism for their livelihood.
