DORSET APE PHOTO, Can you identify the “creature”

In March of 2013 a 17 year old student by the name of Terri Leigh Cox noticed a creature bounding around the playing fields just outside her house in Dorchester, Dorset. Miss Cox’s description of the sighting in her own words was; “it was such a shock. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing at first. It looked about the size of a small gorilla. It was walking like one as well, using its arms and feet. It was definitely a monkey because you could tell by its hunched back and the way it scampered across a field and up a tree. It wasn’t a black
dog.”

Highlands Research, Looking for the Kilted Wildman. The Walkabout Man series.

We are very lucky to have a researcher in the Highlands who  shares his adventures with us. Walk the hills and Bens with him as he takes you to some of scotland’s wildest places in search of the Scottish Wildman.  Scotland is home to more Bigfoot reports than the rest of the UK, with ample habitat and an abundance of food there would be no hardship in living out the warmer months there, with huge underground cave networks, and mountains and Glens I for one have no doubt, that if the British Bigfoot is anywhere Scotland is one of the last vestiges for them.

Monday’s solo walk. Was Stunning, just stunning, no wind and it was so quiet you could have heard a pin drop.  Soon after I took a few videos my battery went – the facia of my phone is coming away AND I was too bloody excitable taking photos and videos to keep an eye on the residual power!

I’m devastated because as soon afterwards I found what I believe to be a small footprint at the side of the logging road, one I walked up for a couple of hours. It was the exact size of my Mora knife, width was the blade plus a thumbs width into the handle. I could make out toe impressions at the front and the pinky toe splayed to the left. The spot is just above a ditch with a very small running stream right next it. There is a further steep slope (roughly 4 to 5’) at the tree line.

The Never Ending Strangeness on Cannock Chase. Hell Hounds, Bigfoot, and Giant Snakes

The Ludlow Blog reports :

Cannock Chase is an area of woodland and heath land which has been designated as an area of outstanding natural beauty. It is located between Stafford and Cannock and covers an area of about 26 square miles. Years ago it became familiar to many people when a series of murders took place here, three girls were murdered and buried on the Chase. Raymond Leslie Morris, a motor engineer from Walsall, was found guilty at Stafford assizes of one of the murders in 1968 and was sentenced to life imprisonment. He is still in prison over 40 years later as one of the country’s longest serving prisoners. However moving further forward in time a series of strange events seem to have been centred around this location known as Cannock Chase, what follows are extracts from newspapers which have reported on these strange events.

Below are a series of articles that have appeared in the Cannock Chase Post and Birmingham Post.

Panther alert on new sightings 1 September 2005

Sightings of a snarling, black panther sparked a police search this week as terrified residents steered clear of Cannock Chase.

Tuesday saw the latest in a long history of panther sightings on the ancient woodland.

Eyewitnesses have told us of a large, muscular, black cat, roughly three feet long, prowling through the woodlands near Cannock Chase Enterprise Centre.

Terrified witnesses fled as the beast came within metres of them, seeming to appear from nowhere.

Creepy Mutant Creature Missouri, USA. A White creature with long fingers and face of a pig..

“I saw a weird Mutant Creature as a child” says a resident of Missouri, USA, who wished to remain anonymous. In a statement released today.

“I recently went to a reunion of our high school and met her friend ash, which at school we were bosom friends.

We talked about different topics, and then she suddenly asked “do you remember the beast, with a snout like a pig we saw?” I looked at ash first with incomprehension, then shock.

As it turned out, I completely forgot about this event. I was so scared that my memory tried to completely erase that horrible memory from my mind and I remembered it only when ash asked him about.

Before my family and the ash family lived in the remote countryside, where there was only dirt roads. Passed near the national Park boundary, and the nearest town was 25 miles. It was 2003 and I was 13 years old.

Thoughts and Theories by The Thinker.

Coincidences or Totally Unrelated??

Being an avid outdoorsman, which mainly came from having being in the forces, most of my adult life I have always felt more comfortable in the wilderness rather than in the City, whether it be up a mountain in the Cairngorms or trawling through the forests of the Trossachs and Tay areas, like similar people I feel an affinity with these remote areas, no worries, no stress and yet you can’t shake that feeling that there is a bigger picture, something we either don’t understand or are choose to ignore.

Over the years I have maintained a distant interest in what would probably be termed ‘alternative topics’ such as Cryptozoology, mainly reading books and watching any programmes that fall into that category and one thing’s for definite, the more I learn or find out, the less I actually know and the more questions enter my small brain.

I took this today near the Big Boss Den, just to the left of the Den there is a figure stood in slight outline next to it, there is a sort of canine head shape and upper torso and maybe another figure slightly lower left but I’m not sure.

These images are from 1-5 Jan 2019   A strange large print found in soft ground.

Inside The Unsolved Disappearances Of The Bennington Triangle

Why is the area of the Bennington Triangle considered cursed? Why do people not want to live there? It seems the mountainous terrain of Glastenbury, Vermont had a bad luck curse from the beginning.  What happened to the people who mysteriously disappeared from Glastenbury Mountain, Vermont?” In most Bennington Triangle cases the victims or their bodies were never found. They vanished into thin air from their bedrooms, gardens, and petrol stations and other places within the area of Bennington Triangle. Except for people disappearances, there were also numerous reports of strange sounds, people who have gone insane, peculiar smells, UFO activity, strange lights, and mysterious creatures spotted in woods. Although these happenings have long puzzled people living in the vicinity of Bennington, Vt. they have never been explained.

Officially 241 persons lived in the region in 1880. Then the “town’s” population decreased to 17 in 1920 and down to only 3 permanent residents in 1930. In 1950 there was only the one remaining resident but also on its way to move…

A number of local legends are associated with a densely wooded area of the Bennington Triangle and Glastenbury Mountain but the first white settlers did not take the legend seriously until their families and closest friends began to disappear without trace.

https://allthatsinteresting.com/bennington-triangle  Some suspect a serial killer while others point a finger at the paranormal, but nobody has been able to fully explain the mysterious disappearances from Vermont’s Bennington Triangle. Followers of folklore and aficionados of the paranormal are certainly familiar with the Bermuda Triangle and perhaps even southeastern Massachusetts’ Bridgewater Triangle. But one lesser-known cousin of these areas infamous for their strange disappearances holds more than its fair share of tantalizing mysteries: the Bennington Triangle of Vermont.

Dubbed as such by Vermont author Joseph A. Citro, the Bennington Triangle is a loosely-defined area that encompasses the ghost town of Glastenbury, once a small logging community centered on the eponymous mountain in southwestern Vermont. Abandoned at the end of the 19th century after the logging boom died down, the greater Glastenbury area is now mostly untouched, pristine wilderness and is considered remote even by Vermont standards.  Starting with a string of missing persons some 70 years ago, the now-abandoned town has long been the eerie setting of numerous unexplained disappearances, unsolved murders, and bizarre sightings that continue to this day.  Glastenbury and its neighboring township Somerset were both once moderately thriving logging and industrial towns, but began declining toward the late 19th century and are now essentially ghost towns, unincorporated by an act of the state legislature in 1937.

The Bennington Triangle also has been a hotspot for UFO activity, Big Foot sightings, and strange lights and sounds. Other sources do seem to support that such folklore does appear to date back as far as the late 19th century. This includes the local folk belief that Native Americans regarded the Glastenbury area as “cursed” and avoided it, as well as tales of hairy “wild men” and other strange beasts in the woods.
