Is Bigfoot in Britain? Mysterious figure lurking in Lincolnshire woods is claimed to be mystery beast

Friskney Footprint and Dark Figure

Bigfoot enthusiast Adam Bird, who captured the image, did not see the image whilst out on the research day, it was viewed by a group member who claims it could be the most convincing evidence yet that Britain is home to the mythical beast.  Could these startling pictures be evidence that Bigfoot is lurking in the British countryside? The eerie image appears to show a large shadowy figure looming menacingly behind a tree in a Lincolnshire woods.

Bigfoot enthusiast Adam Bird, 31, captured the picture while out walking in Friskney nature reserve and said he was stunned to spot the shadowy figure staring back at him from the photo after it was pointed out to him. After hearing of previous Bigfoot sightings at the nature reserve, Adam, from Nottingham, ventured into the woodland in search of clues. He followed some strange noises and suspiciously large footprints in the woods before capturing what he believes is the mysterious beast on camera.

Adam, co-founder of the British Bigfoot Research organisation, believes the shadowy figure could be the most convincing evidence that it’s living in Britain yet.   He said: “My investigators and I were tipped off that this small patch of woodland in Friskney could be a hotspot for Bigfoot beasts. “There is at least one reported sighting here, so we decided to check it out. “We stayed there for a few hours that day and felt watched and followed the whole time. “It looks like a shadowy figure stood within the trees staring at us from afar.

Just 7 short miles away there is an account by two dog walker who saw a “white eyed creature”
The White Eyed Creature, chapel St Leonard Dec 2016

Statement taken by Thomas john Goodfellow:

Kiefer and Jacqueline (who are friends of mine) were walking with the two dogs along the seafront up near The Anderby Creek area of Chapel st leonard, They were out for an evening walk with the dogs.  They had a torch in hand and it was turned on. As they headed up the main ramp entrance to the sea front they were suddenly stopped as the torch light  panned across the trees it lit up a large creature approx 200ft off in the distance to the right hand side, it was in the treeline and it was running along the beach walkway back into the cover.

There was no sound from the creature, you couldn’t hear any growls or anything. The only distinctive facts were it stood upright at approx 7 ft /7.5ft tall with bright white eyes (this could be from the torch or lighting maybe?) after around 8-10 seconds the creature moved off into the treeline and out of sight,  They  couple carried on walking quickly down the seafront walkway when they heard loud sounds to the right in a few trees, they sounded like wood hitting wood. A knocking sound, so they shined the light back towards the sound and saw eyes staring back at them with no movement, just a constant stare. Those eyes never left them or blinked.

They became so scared at this point they started to run away picking the dogs up as they went, Kiefer looked back one last time and saw the same creature stood on the walkway behind them less than 150 ft away, it was a dark upright figure dark brown/black with bright white eyes but lighter around the face and hands, at this point they ran to the safety of home locked the doors and have been sat inside ever since.

After I had given this couple chance to calm down and reflect on the encounter, I contacted the again,  they didn’t really have anything more to add, but I could tell they were really nervous and wanted to know if these “creatures” ever attack.  I explained that at no point did it try to approach them, it just made them scared enough to run away just by standing there.  Something must have driven it out of the treeline and I think the couple caught it unawares maybe. For all it is the coast there is a nature reserve at Anderby Creek and it’s directly behind the trees the creature ran into. From there he can travel very easily north, west or south to other nature reserves and forested areas.

Langrick Fell Wolf 1926
Location: Dogdyke (Lincolnshire) – Langrick Fen, but exact location unknown
Type: Werewolf
Date / Time: Unknown – pre 1926
Further Comments: A local archaeologist digging in the peat discovered a human skeleton but with a wolf’s head. The man took his discovery home, but during the night he found his house besieged by a werewolf. The archaeologist spent the night barricaded in the kitchen as the beast tried to gain entrance to his house, and as the sun came up and the werewolf left, the man took the skeleton and reburied the bones where they were found.
LINCOLNSHIRE – (Nov 1970) – A man who spotted a half-man, half-animal entity was so scared he called the police. Various postmen in the village talked of seeing strange things, but it is unclear whether these are the same entity as the November sighting. It has also been speculated that the sighting may be connected to an old Anglo-Saxon burial ground close to the bridge.
