Mullaghbane Wildman Sighting Dec 17

Witness Account 7/12/2015 : I have been hiking since 2004 mostly alone and all over Ireland. In December 2015 I was in a very remote and isolated area of the Sperrin’s. I had walked to three hill tops surrounded by dense forest and was heading back up a hill towards a tree line to my car when I seen something very tall and large moving faster behind me one km away. It was walking heading down the hill towards me on a route I had just taken. I am not easily spooked but I did not hang about as I am of the opinion if it wanted to, it could have caught up with me easy. I have pondered this for a while now but I have not a clue what it was to this day, as I see people on the hills and mountains at various distances. But this was taller than a 6ft person at the distance I seen it. Eight feet plus is my guess. As I didn’t have a gun only hiking poles I was not about to wait and find out. My hiking bag now has binoculars added.

The Holcombe, M.O.D Wild Creature, sighting 1980’s

Way up on Holcombe Moor is an Army Training centre and lots of land owned by the M.O.D Posted with danger signs it is not accessible to your average human.  But as this area is very close to the source of the River Irwell along which many British Wildman sightings lie.  I recently got back in touch with the witness to see if they would appear in the new documentary Elusive, but sadly ill health and fear of being identified prevented him from appearing, but he did manage to fill me in a little on some of the details.

This is the original Account, which was taken by A. Bird in 2013.

D. B witness statement: I am an ex service personnel who wished to tell you about two separate sightings of what I believes is the same creature, over an eight week period in the 1980’s, both happened to me whilst training, up in the hills close to Holcombe, This is only a short hop from the Forest of Bowland and has many different habitats, with high wind swept hills and low valleys where its wooded and damp.  It rains all the time. And is an ideal area for the M.O.D and the land is posted for mines and artillery.

The Dorset Cave Man. Have You Seen Him? Lyme Regis

A MYSTERY ‘caveman’ was spotted in the woods along the coastal path.

He was snapped by holidaymaker Nuala Hamilton from the Mull of Kintyre.

Ms Hamilton, 43, had travelled to Lyme Regis on holiday with a friend and her greyhound Judy to look for fossils.

The group had gone to the undercliff area between Beer and Seaton because they had been told that it ‘was like walking through a rainforest’ when the incident occurred.

Ms Hamilton said: “It was a very weird experience but I didn’t feel threatened or scared at all.

Judy had run on ahead and normally greyhounds are very placid and don’t bark but she let out a high pitched bark, like she had been startled.

“We went to see what had happened and saw this man.

“I had my camera in my hand ready and just took the picture.

“When I first saw him it looked like he was doing Tai Chi but I don’t know.”

She added: “It looked like he had deliberately dressed up like a caveman. He definitely seemed to know what he was doing.”

The man then disappeared into the undergrowth. Ms Hamilton said: “I just thought he was a hippy type in the woods but I would love to know if anyone else has seen him.”

She added: “I didn’t get any bad vibes or feel vulnerable. He was just minding his own business.”

WHAT’S WITH THE HABITUDE? Beasts of Britain

New in today by the wonderful blog Beasts of Britain, Andy is one of the leading pioneer’s in the subject of the British Bigfoot, and has himself done many hours of outdoor research and is influential in bringing this subject to the fore of the UK’s Fortean thinking, I would like to thank Andy for his time and effort, late nights and wet days, trudging muddy fields and marshy ground, in the pursuit of evidence.  And his unbending three thinking attitude, like the explorers of old.

Carrick Hills, Maybole, A Strange Creature seen from the Car, 1970’s

I am giving this account on behalf of my father, who sadly passed away some years ago, this incident stayed with him for years, I was a small child at the time, but I can still remember the day clearly, and I remember the effect it had on my father who was not a man I had ever seen scared:

In was back in the 70’s we had been out for the day and it was on the return journey he saw it. We were driving our usual route and well it all happened driving up Carrick Hills just few miles outside Maybole Ayrshire. We were on the top road coming back from Ayr.  My Dad was driving and my Mam was in the passenger seat, us kids in the back bored stiff, ready to be home, he was almost home and he cut over the hills to go on to the bottom road.

Cannock Chase part 4. Bigfoot sighting on Cannock Chase. And F.O.I figures for Staffs Area

An interesting account sent in to the Birmingham Mail in 2013 speaks of a strange Human Like  type Creature See Original post.  AFTER recent events worldwide regarding Bigfoot, interest in Cannock’s very own alleged sasquatch has heightened, The sunday mercury was approached by a Cannock chase resident who claims to have had a very strange encounter in the  Staffordshire forest… And a look at the Freedom Of Informations figures for beasts and creatures in the Staffs area between 2008 and 2017.

Upright Human Figure, Staffs 2013

“Last year around June time, me and two other friends were supposed to go to a 24-hour basketball event for charity. Us being lads we decided to skive and go and sit down the lane in my car, and do what typical teenage lads do.
“Anyway, so me and two others were parked up in a little pull-in, down a lane in Gentleshaw not too far from Burntwood, Cannock. We were parked in this pull-in facing the road, with trees either side of us, and a gated-field behind. It was around two o’clock in the morning and we had the interior light on in the car, when my friend in the front passenger seat said he could see something moving outside, on the right side of the car.

“We turned off the interior light to get a better look and could definitely see something moving in the trees in the distance. Our first thoughts were a person or an animal, all we could see was something large moving around. This thing must have been about 10-15m away. (I didn’t exactly have time to measure!) I turned the car headlights and hazard lights on, to see if I could see anymore. This thing was the shape of a human, but stood about 7-8ft, it was hard to tell with it being dark and such a distance away.

Cannock Chase Accounts Part 2, The Wildman seen by two witnesses.

The Wildman sighting summer 80’s,  Cannock Chase

Witness account: I was over Cannock chase with a girlfriend about 25 years ago on a warm summers night when she noticed something in the tree line watching us? And honestly when I looked, it looked like a large man in a fur coat standing in the trees watching us, when I turned on the car lights “it” ran deeper in to the trees. “He” was very big and it did look as though he was sloughed over as well, (leaning forward) the side of him as I saw him through the trees looked like a bodybuilder. I didn’t hear anything on the night, strange not even when he moved through the trees. I never knew there were strange things happening over the chase until one of my friends mentioned it about a year ago. This happened to me close to the German Cemetery at Cannock.
