Isabella’s Journal Part 7. A Borrowed Glove and a Friend Returns.

July 31, 2018

Hello again Deb,

Isabella here from the high hills of Scotland with further news of our furry friends. We’ve turned another corner with the habituation on the mountain and events are moving forward in the contest between the local clan and the landowner. I thought your followers might be interested in developments as the world in general faces a melt-down in the environment and what we’d all counted upon as the normal behaviour of nature. We’ve gone through a portal, I feel, into new times and we’ll never go back to what we once knew.

Likewise, the sides here are clearly drawn and there’s a stressful alignment of businessman versus forest people. The erecting of fences that was underway when I last contacted you is now finished and the end of the woodland completely closed-off just over the lane from the cottage.

As I’d mentioned about a month ago there were posts driven into the ground every eight feet or so by a pneumatic pile-driver and rolls of fencing laid out along the ditch. Then suddenly all went quiet and the workmen fled. Within days the posts were ripped out like so many toothpicks and scattered along the edge of the forest. I held my breath and waited to see how the landowner might react. Eventually the muddy posts were collected, loaded onto a truck and taken away. A week later someone delivered their replacements – huge round pointed logs that would create a barrier six feet high.

Growls, Snarls, Shadowed and Limbs Being Thrown, Millbank Woods. Yorkshire 2018

Witness Account: I was out walking on Sunday 27th August 2018. It was around 7pm.  We entered Millbank woods at Kildale. ( Millbank wood is a peaceful wood a short walk from Stamner village. You can either follow the bridle path or go across the fields to get up to the wood which lies along the top of the hill. It is part of the Stamner Park walking route.) The path in the woods in parts is a valley, with sides that slope upward and the path is at the bottom. We walked down the path and then on down to the waterfall.  I felt as if I was being watched once I was down at the waterfall.  It was a horrible eerie feeling.  I walk all over day and night and this feeling has never happened before.  I was with my husband and we wandered around the base of the waterfall for a short time to give the dog a drink then we both sat down. As we were sitting there we heard a growl and the sounds of something on the path above us as if something had walked up above. My dog also heard the noises on the path and looked up.

A large stick came down at us. We brushed this off at first as it is a wood but then something else came down on to us. We sat there for a few minutes I felt very uneasy the whole time as though whatever it was up there was watching us, my husband also felt the same. We climbed up to the top of the path the same way we had come down and my dog immediately picked up a scent so I knew something had recently walked above us, within minutes.  I live in a rural area so my dog is use to picking up the scents of animals. He picks up scents of non human smells and I can tell by his behaviour. I can’t describe the eerie feeling of being watched from the trees. I wanted to leave immediately the feeling was that bad. We continued along the path. We heard another snarl and growl from in the trees. This was not a dog snarl nor was it people in the trees playing a prank, the area is very thick sloping down with trees, bushes and overgrowth.

HAUNTED WIRRAL: The strange case of the werewolf cabby

Haunted Wirral reports,

On Wednesday evening of 16 April 2003, two students – Misha Egerton and Bryony Claremont, both aged 20, got on their bikes and cycled almost 2 miles from their flat on Beckwith Street, Birkenhead. They were travelling to a house on Wexford Road, Prenton, where their student boyfriends, Elliott and Jake lived. Tonight the girls, their boyfriends and ten other students were having a party and the guests were expected to bring their own bottles of wine and six packs of lager and beer.

The Devon Wolf 1996, And What happens at Wistman’s Wood 2014

“I live in a small town in Devon (UK) just south of Dartmoor and there have been many sightings of what appear to be werewolves in the fields near here and up onto the moors themselves. The most known sighting was in 1996 and was by Emily Watton. She was walking here two dogs; a collie and a labrador/springer spaniel cross, on the moors in early October when the dogs started going crazy. Then both, at the same instant, turned around and started trying to run in the opposite direction Emily was headed. Emily kept hold of the leads and while trying to turn the dogs around, she saw a huge creature “about 7 or 8 feet tall” running towards her. It was “wolf-like but the forelegs were much longer and the chest much deeper. It was covered in fine black, grey and brown fur and hair brilliantly yellow eyes.” The snout was longer than either of her dogs’ and she could see fangs when the creature opened its mouth. She started to run but the creature was, in her estimation, at least 4 times as fast as she was. When the creature got about 20 feet from her, the dogs suddenly turned and started barking at it. Emily kept running but as she looked over her shoulder, she saw the creature stand up on its hind legs, grab the two dogs, then throw the collie into a rock and rip out her labrador/spaniel’s throat”

When she got back to town and told her husband what had happened she was taken to hospital. I’m not sure what happened to her after that but what i was told is that she died of shock that night………

Is Bigfoot in Britain? Mysterious figure lurking in Lincolnshire woods is claimed to be mystery beast

Friskney Footprint and Dark Figure

Bigfoot enthusiast Adam Bird, who captured the image, did not see the image whilst out on the research day, it was viewed by a group member who claims it could be the most convincing evidence yet that Britain is home to the mythical beast.  Could these startling pictures be evidence that Bigfoot is lurking in the British countryside? The eerie image appears to show a large shadowy figure looming menacingly behind a tree in a Lincolnshire woods.

Bigfoot enthusiast Adam Bird, 31, captured the picture while out walking in Friskney nature reserve and said he was stunned to spot the shadowy figure staring back at him from the photo after it was pointed out to him. After hearing of previous Bigfoot sightings at the nature reserve, Adam, from Nottingham, ventured into the woodland in search of clues. He followed some strange noises and suspiciously large footprints in the woods before capturing what he believes is the mysterious beast on camera.

Adam, co-founder of the British Bigfoot Research organisation, believes the shadowy figure could be the most convincing evidence that it’s living in Britain yet.   He said: “My investigators and I were tipped off that this small patch of woodland in Friskney could be a hotspot for Bigfoot beasts. “There is at least one reported sighting here, so we decided to check it out. “We stayed there for a few hours that day and felt watched and followed the whole time. “It looks like a shadowy figure stood within the trees staring at us from afar.

Mawnan Owlman

Does a monstrous red-eyed hybrid creature haunt a Cornish village? Reverend Lionel Fanthorpe explains the British countryside’s strangest tales The Spectred Isle

Mawnan Smith is an old village that lies to the west of Rosemullion Head, just a few miles south of Falmouth in Cornwall. Mawnan Wood is one of the most notable features of the area, and has become famous around the world following reports of a mysterious Owlman – a weird, half-bird half-human creature, reportedly spotted there on several occasions.

One of the earliest reports goes back to 1926, when the Cornish Echo reported that two boys were chased by what was described as a very large, ferocious bird. The lads took cover behind a steel grating, but the bird-like beast furiously continued to try to reach them through the grid.

Stanley co. Durham 74. Is there a Wild Man Roaming County Durham.

I was contacted by a lovely lady named Karen who had an experience many years ago in childhood that has stayed with her throughout her life, trying to find answers to explain what she saw or how it was even possible she searched online and found others who had experienced the very same things.  A strange Man like creature that others claim is impossible, but like myself and many others, that impossible creature we looked at that day, was so real it is still with us to this day, decades later the old questions of “how” “who” and “what” never go away. Hopefully by sharing her story with others Karen can finally find some answers and hopefully find others who have had the same experience and are out there thinking they too are alone.

Witness Account Karen: I had a strange experience as a child that I’d like to share. Im hoping to shed some light on what happened to me that day and some help in working out what “he” was. I was somewhere between 5- 7 years old and I was in the local woods in Stanley co. Durham with some older children just playing out as children do. The girls I was with were about 13 years old and nice sensible girls. Where I lived back then there were lots of fields and woods but it wasn’t remote or dense. It was an average town really with surrounding countryside and green belt land, small woods and streams. We were in playing in a clearing  and I think there may have been a rope swing. I looked up into a tree and high in the branches I could see a ‘man’ he was crouched down and he was holding a knife in his hand. He wasn’t like a normal man and I called him an Apeman or a Monkeyman. He reminded me of a caveman or Wildman.  I have included a picture I found online that resembles what I saw that day.
