Isabella’s Journal Part 7. A Borrowed Glove and a Friend Returns.

July 31, 2018

Hello again Deb,

Isabella here from the high hills of Scotland with further news of our furry friends. We’ve turned another corner with the habituation on the mountain and events are moving forward in the contest between the local clan and the landowner. I thought your followers might be interested in developments as the world in general faces a melt-down in the environment and what we’d all counted upon as the normal behaviour of nature. We’ve gone through a portal, I feel, into new times and we’ll never go back to what we once knew.

Likewise, the sides here are clearly drawn and there’s a stressful alignment of businessman versus forest people. The erecting of fences that was underway when I last contacted you is now finished and the end of the woodland completely closed-off just over the lane from the cottage.

As I’d mentioned about a month ago there were posts driven into the ground every eight feet or so by a pneumatic pile-driver and rolls of fencing laid out along the ditch. Then suddenly all went quiet and the workmen fled. Within days the posts were ripped out like so many toothpicks and scattered along the edge of the forest. I held my breath and waited to see how the landowner might react. Eventually the muddy posts were collected, loaded onto a truck and taken away. A week later someone delivered their replacements – huge round pointed logs that would create a barrier six feet high.

Retired cop sees a large hairy biped dash right in front of his car near Kansas City

BRFO REPORTS Report # 48012  (Class A)
Submitted by witness on Monday, February 16, 2015.

YEAR: 2015

SEASON: Winter

MONTH: February

DATE: 10th

STATE: Kansas

COUNTY: Wyandotte County

LOCATION DETAILS: K-7 / US 73 Highway runs north and south along the Leavenworth/Wyandotte county line. Closest intersection is Donahoo Road, or a mile and a half north of the traffic light at Leavenworth Road.

NEAREST TOWN: Western edge of Kansas City, Kansas

NEAREST ROAD: On Kansas 7 / US 73 Highway

OBSERVED: On or about 00:30 Hours (12:30 AM), February 10, 2015, give or take 30 minutes, I was on my way home from work. I work in Overland Park, Kansas and live in Lansing, Kansas. I have been working a special project and my hours are from 3 PM to Midnight. I was driving North on K-7 Highway just past Leavenworth Road near Falcon Estates Subdivision when a very large animal darted across the road in front of me running on two feet. I did not slow down and was only able to see the back end of the animal. The only thing in my mind right now is the fur pattern that I saw. The fur looked a little longer than my hair which would make the hair about 2 to 3 inches and a little darker than color tan but a lighter color than the color brown, more of a dirty blond, it had waves in the hair, almost curly in areas. It was larger and faster than any deer that I have ever seen in the area. The size could be a large horse or elk. I am glad that I did not hit it because of its size it would have totaled my car. I cannot be 100% sure but it could have been a Big Foot. The tail bone was about even to the middle of my driver’s side window. I drive a Ford Focus. I was just amazed by the fur color and texture.

ALSO NOTICED: No

OTHER WITNESSES: Just me in my car. There was another car about 100 yards behind me traveling the same direction, Not sure who they are or what they say.

OTHER STORIES: No

TIME AND CONDITIONS: Between midnight and 1 AM

ENVIRONMENT: Rural, with some ponds and a few creeks. About 5 miles south west of the Missouri River.

Follow-up investigation report by BFRO Investigator Carter Buschardt:

Spoke with the witness for 40 minutes or so. Witness is a retired police officer. After retiring as a police officer, he worked at both the Federal prison at Leavenworth and minimum security prison in Lansing KS, just up the road. He was clear, precise, just as he would have been as a police officer. His account is as follows: He was travelling north as stated, at about 65-70 MPH. The bipedal creature ran in front of his car at a diagonal angle, going east to west. He was in the passing lane, and the second car was behind him as stated. The lights from that car illuminated the creature as well, so as far as he was concerned, the area was very well lit. The creature was no more than 5-6 feet away from him at the initial sighting, and “if my arms were 6 feet long, I could have reached out the front passenger window and touched it”. His physical description is as follows: 9ft tall and appx. 600-700 lbs. Hair, (NOT fur) was 2-3 inches in length and flapping as it ran. Definite upright bipedal creature. Musculature was observed as it ran and as stated, the tail bone was at mid wind height if his Ford Probe, which put that portion of the creature at 4-4.5 ft. tall. That is how he arrived at the 9 ft. estimate. He did not see the face and or upper body, as it was running away from him and he was driving and trying to keep his cool and control of the vehicle. He was a bit surprised the car behind him did not see anything, or at least they did not indicate by stopping or slowing down, that they saw anything. That was part of the reason he did not keep looking at the creature as it crossed over to the driver’s side, because he was trying to keep the other car in view to avoid an accident.

Time “seemed to slow down considerably, much as it did when I was a police officer in high stress or critical situations”, and thus his recollection of the event was crystal clear. There is no doubt in his mind now, as to what he saw. After the event, he went home, pulled out pen and paper, and stated that he “wrote my report as I would if I were still on duty while things were still fresh”. As he stated, everything was in slow motion, his recollection of events did not waive.

I am familiar with this area, having traveled it once a month for three years. It is rich fertile farmland, rotated with corn & soybeans. Deer are plentiful, as are turkey, good water sources, and the Missouri (Kansas) river is close, and numerous creeks. Not heavily wooded but enough timber certainly for cover. If I were to pick a witness whose clarity and recollection of events were not likely to be called into question, I would pick a law enforcement officer. He was clear and precise. I believe him.

Family Sees ‘Bigfoot and Its Pet’ Michigan

Cryptozoology News

A men and his two daughters say they came upon a two-legged primate in Michigan.

The anonymous man, a Roscommon County resident, says they were looking for rocks to build a fire pit when the event took place on April 3, 2017.

“It was about 7.45 p.m.,” he explains. “It was a light rain. We were coming up over a ridge on the trail and when we were starting down a huge bigfoot ran across the trail in front of us,” he added on the BFRO report.

The man says his family “saw it well”.

“It was covered in long black hair with a patch of white along its back, near its shoulder.”

He recalls the biped could run “with amazing speed” and in a “forward leaning position.”

“Its arms almost touched the ground,” he said about the 9-foot-tall creature.

“We could see legs, arms and head muscles, but not the face.”

But he says that “the strangest part” was the wolf running with it, as “if they were together”.

“The wolf was like its pet, it was very strange.”

The Dogman is a cryptid reputed to live in the northwestern quadrant of Michigan’s Lower Peninsula, although other sightings have been documented in other states, such as Wisconsin. This unproven creature was first reportedly spotted in 1887 by two lumberjacks, who described it as having a human body and a dog’s head.

In 2017, a woman in Michigan claimed to have seen a similar creature.

In 2015, a group of three people in Michigan reportedly came across an unidentified dog-like creature in the woods of St. Clair County.

In 2014  a woman told Cryptozoology News that she had witnessed an encounter between a group of Bigfoot and Dogman creatures in what looked like some sort of symbiosis, reminding her of the “relationship between crocodiles and hippos”.

Pennsylvania Bigfoot Map.

As most of you know Maps are one of my favourite things, and Bigfoot sightings maps are I feel incredibly important to not only researchers but the witnesses themselves, when you can see just how many other accounts there are on the map, it puts things into perspective when you see just how many people have seen these creatures also.  The Pennsylvania Bigfoot Map was made by George Workman and with over 400 accounts and growing it would be a handy tool for anyone researching in the Pennsylvania are and surrounding States.  George is a fellow member of  S.O.N.A.R. (Sasquatch Organization of the North American Rockies)

This map shows possible Bigfoot sightings & encounters in & nearby Pennsylvania. More details of some reports are @ www.pabigfootsociety.com. If you have a report to be added to the map, send an email to privateman@startmail.com. I would like to thank George Workman for allowing me to share his wonderful map with you all and Joe Vogel who is the founder of S.O.N.A.R for his help with this article.  If you have an interest in the Sasquatch subject pop on over to S.O.N.A.R and meet the gang.
