Isabella’s Journal Part 1 & Part 2 The Gentle Giant on the Hill. Somewhere in Scotland

I was in contact today with a lovely lady who I shall refer to as Isabella, before I continue I would like to keep Isabella’s identity and area a secret, as the account unfolds you will no doubt understand why. The witness herself was happy to be named, but we both decided in the interest of our Forest Friends Anonymity was probably the best route to take. I can’t thank Isabella enough for allowing me to share this moving and inspiring account with you all.

Is the Hard Stand Monster or the Standing Wolf at Raf Alconbury a British Bigfoot ?

This account was kindly passed to me by Chris J. Huff writer and researcher of all thing strange who came across the story when researching accounts for his work into the paranormal accounts across the UK. Witness Statement: I almost fell out of my chair when I read your intriguing story and the account of the “hard stand” monster at RAF Alconbury. Just tonight, my father shared with me his stories about this base and it prompted me to do the internet search that brought me to your message. I think you’ll find my father’s experiences at this air force base in the early 1970s very interesting. He was the NCOIC of a group of 3 men and their dogs, charged with guarding bunkers within a large, fenced area.[…]

Bardney, Lincs. Shadowed, Watched and Figures in the Trees? Summer 2017

I would like some advice on an incident that happened earlier in the summer to me and my wife. I wanted to show you some of the photographs I took whilst we were there – I would really like to hear people’s opinions on what, if anything, they can see in them. It did not feel like we were alone that day and that’s why I took the photos. It was around 9.15 in the evening, it was a lovely summers night and I’m not a hundred percent sure, but I think it was late July, early August. We are lucky in that we have quite a lot of small woodlands in the area if you google Southrey, Lincolnshire you will see. My wife and I had been for a[…]

A Hissing Cat or a British Bigfoot? 2012 Addington Area Surrey (do bigfoots hiss?)

Witness Report C.L. : Do bigfoots hiss? I ask because of a strange experience a friend and I had one night back in 2012. We were eating a Chinese takeaway while watching the stars, on Addington Golf course which is on the outskirts of South London and borders the Kent and Surrey countryside. So there we were, eating egg foo yung from a plastic container, chatting away enjoying the night, when suddenly we heard the most terrifying hiss! It was the worst noise I’ve ever heard in all my life, and an image instantly came to mind – you know, when a beast bares its teeth and hisses? That’s what it reminded me of, but this noise was made by something far bigger and louder than any cat.

Ambresbury Banks, Epping, Strange Happenings in the Woods

Ambresbury Banks between the Wake arms Roundabout and Epping is another late Iron Age earthwork in the area of Loughton, where I spent much of my teenage years. The fort encompasses an area of 4.5 hectares (11 acres) and is surrounded by a bank of up to 2 m in height, and an impressive ditch in places, which today is quite shallow but once was up to three metres deep and six metres wide. The site has been examined archaeologically 9 times, the first excavation conducted by Augustus Pitt-Rivers in 1881. The defences today have 6 major breaks in their circumference: only one appears to be original. This is approached from the north west by a trapezoidal causeway. The ends of the bank at this point were revetted with coursed[…]

Morpeth Mystery Screams and Structures, 2003 – and area follow up 2017

Witness Statement: Borough Woods is a small area in the north east of England, not far from Morpeth and I guess about ten miles, maybe less from Bolam Country Park. Fields and small woods follow the river and it is an area close to the country parks.  I’m a fellow researcher and an avid FT reader, plus I work in the area, so naturally, I was regaling a couple of my colleagues with the story of “the beast” – only one or two of the local project officers had heard of it. Explaining the sightings from witnesses and the area itself.

Kielder Forest – Continuing Accounts

Early November 2017: I was contacted today by a gentleman from the outdoors community whom I have known for many years. I have a great respect for him and I have come to trust and value his opinion in regards to structures found or witness reports. We chat back and forth on occasion by email, and today he passed on the details of another outdoors-man (S.B.) who has been having some strange experiences in Kielder Forest. I will add his YouTube channel so you can view the areas in question.

Nairn Valley Big Hairy Thing – Multiple Sightings

A Local Researcher’s Account: I was in the Clava Cairns area today and spoke to a croft owner who has a croft at the north end of the railway viaduct that runs over the river Nairn. Whilst discussing this month’s wild man sighting at Clava Cairns, Witness A stated that he had seen the same figure also. He told our researcher that he had seen ‘the big hairy man’ walking along the railway line in a southerly direction from the forestry behind his croft towards the viaduct/cairns on quite a few occasions, but he couldn’t be pinned down to an exact number of times!  He also said his dogs were going nuts each time. Also with the witness was another man who wished to remain anonymous for reason that will[…]
