Encounter report via phone on 5-1-2018:
Robert is a retired level four engineer. He worked for Honeywell Aeronautical Division. He is now 74 years old.
The two men were hunting wild hogs. As they entered a field a Bigfoot was standing approximately 30 yards from them. It was a bright, sunny day and the creature stood upright and was facing them. No expression on its face. It was about 6-7 feet tall, very wide at the shoulders, muscular, nasty-looking reddish-brown hair with Spanish moss hanging in the hair, conical shaped head, large black eyes, flat nose and a grey face.
My name is mark Thompson and I now live in New Zealand, but originally I lived in England near London, in a town called High Wycombe. My encounter involves the legendary Green Man. The Green Man is a legend of old, and dates back thousands of years just like the native American stories of sasquatch. In my case I grew up next to the Chiltern hills, which span across the southwest to the northwest of London. It is a very dense wooded area and has many legends of the Green Man, Herne the hunter, jack ‘o’ lantern. Willo the wisp, Jack ‘o’ the Green etc. Some parts of the UK were not inhabited until the late 1800’s so forestry was quite big in England.
While reports of Bigfoot-like hairy wild men abound throughout Britain, there is one area of the country that seems to attract more than its fair share of such activity: Castle Ring, in the county of Staffordshire. Located near the village of Cannock Wood and constructed between 500 B.C. and A.D. 40, Castle Ring is an Iron Age structure commonly known as a Hill Fort. It is 801 feet above sea level, and it main ditch and bank enclosure is fourteen feet high and, at its widest point, 853 feet across. Another of our ancient sites here in the UK
The fearsome wolves of Yorkshire: Inside the mysterious Wold Newton Triangle
The Yorkshire Wolds may be home to rolling green hills, hidden valleys and ancient villages, but this seemingly peaceful stretch of Yorkshire is harbouring a much darker side behind its picture perfect appearance.
This report came into me via the British Bigfoot Research Group on Facebook and I am still in contact with the gentleman who reported the account back in 2016. At this point the activity around the farms had been happening for a number of years.
Hello Deborah Im reporting this on behalf of a good friend, a friend of mine who lives in a remote Kent farm house along The Medway on The Isle of Grain. My friend has lived at this property a number of years now and they have experienced a number of strange goings on they saw on a few occasions what can only be described as “a large sasquatch type creature” which was on their property on a number of occasions, described as a tall hairy upright creature that looks like a cross between a man and an ape, walking upright on two legs. There is a caravan (mobile home) standing on the property and this has been rocked and banged upon on a few occasions now. I asked my friend to explain what this creature looked like and when they described the height they said “the creature itself at one point has been seen leaning over a Ford escort Van, and even though he wasn’t standings up straight but was in a hunched over position the roof of the van still only came up to the stomach area on this thing.
John Knifton’s Blog reported: In three previous blog posts, I discussed “Shuck”, the huge phantom black dog, who for centuries has roamed, for the most part, the fields, fens and even beaches of East Anglia. I showed, though, that the cryptic canid has also walked on occasion in Nottinghamshire, visiting churchyards and graveyards. He frequents ancient tracks and pathways and, in particular, a lonely footpath down by the River Trent in Beckingham. He has been seen in isolated Crow Lane in South Muskham and, in recent times, on a pitch black Blyth Road, near Hodsock Priory.
These are hairy bipeds with canid features who, like Black Shuck, seem to occur “near freshwater; on hills; at boundary areas such as roads; and on or near burial grounds, and military zones, and all types of sacred areas around the world”: These are the words of Linda S Godfrey in her wonderful book, “Real Wolfmen: True Encounters in Modern America”: Full Article.
“It’s a fancy place that old-timers dream about. … Some said the “valley was full of gold and some said it was hot as hell owing to the warm springs. … It had a wicked name too, for at least a dozen folks went in and never came out’ … Indians said it was the home of devils.”
The above quote comes courtesy of famous author John Buchan, who wrote the mystery classic “The 39 Steps”. It sums up very well the enigma of the place we will be visiting today. The area is known on maps as the Nahanni Valley…but in legend, it has the much more ominous name of “Headless Valley”. It did not acquire that name through random chance.
Are there any more lost worlds left to discover in our modern world? Very few, that’s for sure, but in North America, not too many places are better qualified for that description than the Nahanni Valley. It is an incredibly beautiful and rugged location…and absolutely unreachable by conventional means. Even today, the only real access to it comes through single-engine “bush planes” or boat. It is located in Canada’s Northwest Territories, near the border with Alaska and at the southern terminus of the Mackenzie Mountains.
NEW IN TODAY. I would like to report a Sighting that happened only yesterday 18/6/18. It was between 1.30pm and 2pm myself and my partner were travelling on the A15 heading towards Lincoln. There’s a layby on the road which is roughly a mile or so from the Hibaldstow turn off. And as we were driving we saw an upright moving figure as we were moving along the road. We saw him about 20 foot past the layby. He was upright on two legs, all black in colour and heading away from the road, he was moving through the reed grasses and on into the bushes where we lost sight of him. I realise it was broad daylight and there was other traffic on the road, so this should not have happened. It wasn’t a dark lonely road at night or in the middle of a vast forest, which is how I’ve been trying to debunk it to myself, but nevertheless I cant talk myself out of what I saw yesterday. It might seem impossible to some but I am certain of what I saw and so is my partner.
I asked the witness to describe what she saw before we chatted so I did not influence her in any way which is something I do with all the people that contact me. I say ‘him’ because his energy was male, at the risk of sounding like a crazy person, I see aura and feel energies amongst other things. His energy continued to intrude in my thoughts for the rest of the day, he knew someone had seen him and he was worried. As for a description he was around 8-9 ft feet tall, and a dead black colour all over.
One other thing to note, I have a dashcam in the car so checked the footage in the hopes we had caught him walking away, and there’s a 4hr gap. My dashcam records anything out of the ordinary, ie: heavier than normal breaking and even when the engines off and stationary the sensor picks up anything close to the vehicle, randomly recording at 5 min intervals. The last recording was at 12.03 just before we set off for the A15 and then nothing until I used the car again around 4pm that night.
