River Severn is home to more than just one “creature”! Man sees strange creature running low to the ground.

My name is Simon Austin from Coleford near Gloucester, I have lived here all my life . I never knew where to report my encounter until a friend of mine told me about mark Farnell a friend of his who follows sightings of unexplainable creatures like Bigfoot. I work in Staunton, one morning I woke at 05.00am and got myself ready for work. As I was driving down scowles road heading for the A4136 highway, keeping in mind there was very little to no traffic I approached a left turn junction, near stowfield quarry at that point my car was hit by a small log or branch. In shock I looked to my right from where the sound emitted from and what I saw was frightening to say the least.[…]

Upright Wolf: At the Finnish Line. Linda Godfrey

Linda Godfrey says This sightings report arrived last week via e-mail, and is yet another example of eyewitnesses around the globe claiming to have seen werewolf-like creatures. I haven’t received any from Finland before this, so it was a welcome surprise. Both the witness and the person who wrote the story out for her desire anonymity, so the writer refers to her friend by the pseudonym, “Aino.” She also included a map of the general area. In her own words: I wanted to tell you a werewolf sighting my very good friend had when she was a kid. This happened in Finland. I will tell the story in as much in detail as possible, but I don’t want to reveal my friend’s identity. What I can tell about my friend,[…]

Dogman Encounter in Colorado

Cryptozoology News  A man in Colorado claims he saw a creature that looked like a mix between a human and a dog. The man, whose name wasn’t provided, said on MUFON that he was driving home from work after picking up his dog when he encountered the strange being in October. He explains that he noticed the dog getting anxious so he pulled over to let her out. “She wouldn’t do her business. She started barking. At first I thought she was barking at the traffic, but there was no traffic,” the Boulder, Colorado man said about the alleged encounter. That’s when he says he noticed five lights hovering in the distance. “I quickly put the dog in the car and went to investigate,” he added. “The lights rose higher and[…]

Very Strange Finds at Cannock Chase

A gentleman who was visiting Cannock Chase in Staffordshire came across some very strange finds.  He contacted me by email and kindly agreed to share the images of the finds he came across that day, “I had also heard wood knocking in this area, it didn’t sound like a woodpecker, a much slower and a heavier sound of something being struck. I would be surprised if it was children responsible for the structure as the location is quite off the beaten track, away from the well trod areas of Cannock Chase. The collection of bones (sheep or deer?) was kind of bizarre too I can’t see a reason for them being there inside the structure. The old dolls head was found lying in the dirt nearby. The immediate area[…]

The Devon Wolf 1996, And What happens at Wistman’s Wood 2014

“I live in a small town in Devon (UK) just south of Dartmoor and there have been many sightings of what appear to be werewolves in the fields near here and up onto the moors themselves. The most known sighting was in 1996 and was by Emily Watton. She was walking here two dogs; a collie and a labrador/springer spaniel cross, on the moors in early October when the dogs started going crazy. Then both, at the same instant, turned around and started trying to run in the opposite direction Emily was headed. Emily kept hold of the leads and while trying to turn the dogs around, she saw a huge creature “about 7 or 8 feet tall” running towards her. It was “wolf-like but the forelegs were much longer[…]

What shadowed me in those bushes? and the Medway Werewolf account.

I was contacted by a gentleman on youtube who after hearing one of the video accounts from a witness on the Medway kindly shared his encounter with something strange whilst out on his mountain bike, as regular readers will know, mountain bikers and the mountain bike trails are a great source for witness accounts.   G: Well Deb this is the strange encounter I had in the woods late at night on a solo mountain bike ride in the winter.  I will try and make sense of what happened but im not very good at putting things down on paper and its not the easiest thing to explain.. Im pretty sure this was back in 2011 as I was around 18 when it happened. It was definitely during Winter as the[…]

Cannock Chase 3. Castle Ring Accounts. Hairy Men, Ghosts and Black Shadow Man

The Caveman of Castle ring 500 B.C. and A.D. 40 While reports of Bigfoot-like hairy wild men abound throughout Britain, there is one area of the country that seems to attract more than its fair share of such activity: Castle Ring, in the county of Staffordshire. Located near the village of Cannock Wood and constructed between 500 B.C. and A.D. 40,  Castle Ring is an Iron Age structure commonly known as a Hill Fort. It is 801 feet above sea level, and it main ditch and bank enclosure is fourteen feet high and, at its widest point, 853 feet across. Another of our ancient sites here in the UK

A Werewolf in Cambridgeshire. Run away!!

John Knifton’s Blog reported:  In three previous blog posts, I discussed “Shuck”, the huge phantom black dog, who for centuries has roamed, for the most part, the fields, fens and even beaches of East Anglia. I showed, though, that the cryptic canid has also walked on occasion in Nottinghamshire, visiting churchyards and graveyards. He frequents ancient tracks and pathways and, in particular, a lonely footpath down by the River Trent in Beckingham. He has been seen in isolated Crow Lane in South Muskham and, in recent times, on a pitch black Blyth Road, near Hodsock Priory. These are hairy bipeds with canid features who, like Black Shuck, seem to occur “near freshwater; on hills; at boundary areas such as roads; and on or near burial grounds, and military zones, and all types of sacred areas around the world”: These are[…]
