Coincidences or Totally Unrelated??

Being an avid outdoorsman, which mainly came from having being in the forces, most of my adult life I have always felt more comfortable in the wilderness rather than in the City, whether it be up a mountain in the Cairngorms or trawling through the forests of the Trossachs and Tay areas, like similar people I feel an affinity with these remote areas, no worries, no stress and yet you can’t shake that feeling that there is a bigger picture, something we either don’t understand or are choose to ignore.

Over the years I have maintained a distant interest in what would probably be termed ‘alternative topics’ such as Cryptozoology, mainly reading books and watching any programmes that fall into that category and one thing’s for definite, the more I learn or find out, the less I actually know and the more questions enter my small brain.

One thing that has stood out to me is that where an incident or sighting occurs along with it come others. Now for any of you who may be reading this and thinking “he’s lying” or “that’s not true” please forgive any mistakes or wrong information as that is not my intention, the vast majority of research carried out is simply through visiting/walking these areas and reading the facts which may well be from online on occasions which we all know has its downfalls. I have noticed three key topics which may well lead to a fourth and these may all be related however they may have absolutely nothing to do with each other, I’m simply putting this out there to see if others feel the same and if there is evidence/facts to either prove or disprove the theory. The theory being that where there are 1. Sightings/Incidents there are cases of 2. Missing People and 3. Livestock Attacks/Mutilations and then I started looking into Ley Lines which I shall fully admit I know little about however when you throw it all together on a map it hits you.

Sightings and Incidents

Having watched Deborah Hatswell’s sightings map grow and grow over last couple of years I have found it very intriguing to say the least regarding the amount of wildmen/dogmen/Fairy’s/Anomalies or whichever you choose to call it throughout the UK and a valid question is that for every person coming forward and telling their story, how many don’t? and they dont report for a wide variety of reasons (I would think it’s easier to continue with your normal daily life than step outside the comfort box and face something we don’t understand)

Livestock Attacks/Mutilations

This is a topic which can be very hard to research and usually only makes the press in extreme circumstances i.e. multiple victims. One such incident being the mutilations and livestock killings in a place called Bettyhill in North Scotland very recently, and having lived near there and frequented the area numerous times it doesn’t take much to see how an animal or creature can remain hidden and carry out these acts. The area having nothing but vast forests and wilderness to the West and South and it being well documented locally. The problem is however it’s almost always attributed to dog’s and in some cases this sadly may be the case however I encourage you to read through online reports and when you read between the lines it becomes apparent that the actual attack was not witnessed it is merely assumed to be a dog because what else can it be right???? And I am certain it wouldn’t look good on an insurance claim form to state anything to the contrary (cue off to the loony bin). All you have to do is research your area and slowly but surely these incidents will pop up.

Missing People

Again I must emphasize that this may well have nothing to do with the previous topics however certain facts are hard to ignore. Almost on a weekly basis people are reported missing in the news and although I’d like to give a few cases as an example a feel that may be inappropriate especially as one is still ongoing. Now granted many of these may well be accidents, mental health issues, foul play however when you start to notice the amount of missing people especially in rural backdrops who have disappeared with no real reason or explanation as to how it could’ve happened and then those same cases where that person is found and it simply states “there are no suspicious circumstances” however there is little explanation into how or why it happened? Where they have been etc? And yes I do listen to David Paulides and have read his books where there are similarities and again I must emphasize that he merely gives the facts nothing else which is something I think deserves a great deal of respect as would be very easy to start making assumptions.

Ley Lines

A topic which I fully admit to knowing little about however when researching it struck me just how close these “lines of energy” where to ancient burial mounds, sightings, areas of strange activity. Are these almost like “paranormal highways” or lines of energy which we do not understand. Can other “things” use this as a means of energy or power to move back and forth between “us” and “elsewhere”?

Now I placed a few of these different topics on a map of West Perthshire (an area of high strangeness in my opinion) and I believe it showed a correlation at least of all topics, at least something which shouldn’t be ignored, now I believe if others where to do similar with other areas it would also show a pattern. Any thoughts etc are more than welcome.
